Tell us about yourself.
I'm an accounts clerk for a property company in
I've been writing since I was very young. I'm an only child to a single mother. I'm just your typical young lady trying to pave away for herself in my career as accountant and as a writer, more so a writer.
Tell me about your blog, the name, what does it mean to you?
I write under the name Chim’s World of Literature, reason being its because this is my world where I can express myself however I can. The blog is part of my real name, which is Chimnese; the meaning surround the name is origin from a dragon by the name of Qilin a Chinese mythical figure that comes in pair.
My blog has different genres as you have noted if you’ve browsed through my work that I have from book reviews music lyrics, movie reviews, short stories you name it. It’s my little library online. I always was looking for a place to bring all the different worlds together. I have so many other sites, where I did my fictional writing & my poetry on another. On my blog I have brought it all together as one.
When did you start blogging?
I first started blogging in October 2010.
Your first poem? Remember?
My Skin Burns From Your Touch
As you graze me with warmth,
A touch so amazing,
That my heart skips a beat.
The sun shines on us as we lay in each other’s arms,
Your eyes burn deep within my soul,
The love shines from outside as I bask in your light.
The Gods from above bless us as one.
As I know this feeling,
This soaring feeling of pure love,
Will be everlasting.
Seeing your smile rise in the morning light;
If this is my dying day
Then this is how I want it to feel for the rest of my life.
No time or place will come between.
No time or place will change this feeling.
My skin burns from your touch.
As you graze me with your warmth,
A touch so amazing,
That my heart skips a beat.

What are your writing inspirations?
Music is a huge part of my inspiration,
Music is a huge part of my inspiration,
All of my fanfics started out with music. They inspire me to duck deep within my soul. Depending on the genres as if I am writing a happy story or a sad emotionally tarnished one. But as most of my readers knows. I am one of those dark tortured angst authors. I use my own personal taste into my work. The music is soothing and beautiful, it makes me sway my head left and right slowly repeatedly and somehow, made me write beautifully (When it comes to my stories, I never write like that). It's weird what songs and music can actually do to you but in a positive way!
How do you define poetry as “Good”? Do you revise your work?
I sometimes go with my first draft and upload them on the website Allpoetry where other writers help me to revise my poetry to a certain degree. Its also a good way to interact with other writers.

When did you start writing poetry? Do you write fiction as well?
My very first poem I wrote in 2009 but midyear June 2010 I took some online poetry classes and took my poetry writing serious. I also write fiction, short stories, essays and I've also done Book Reviews on my blog.
Do you have a favorite author or poet?
Favorite author would be Sandra Brown in the romance mysteries. My favorite poet wow lately I've discovered some good poets from years ago, but my all time was always Robert Frost.

Favorite quote?
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
