Poem of the Week 13: Feathers, Fidelity, Figment, and Fables

Welcome to Gooseberry Garden!

It’s amazing that we actually passed the challenge on week 12 Theme, Feathers, Fidelity, Figment, and Fables,  for week 13 poem of the week, I am picking Becca Givens, her entry is called Feathered Bed,

I love easy word flow pieces, and becca has combined all of the four terms in one single piece, it is not often to see her write long poems because she is perfect on Haiku, thus this week, it is a true delight to see her submit a poem with theme fitting perfectly...  to read her original post, visit the link below:

Fairy tales with happy-ever-after endings
True love blossoms in each one
Fidelity is never questioned
All is true in this dream world, not so in ours
Fables reflect gems of truth or
Figments of our imaginations?
Feathered bed or bed of tacks?
Child-like optimism leads me to feathered bed!

That’s for now, Happy Friday!
