Friday Blog Review - Week 12 - Source of Inspiration

I was looking for a blog to do this week’s review and the title Source of Inspiration caught my eye. I thought it sounded interesting and worth checking out. I am definitely glad I did. The author of this blog is Pat Cegan. Pat has had their blog up since October 2010 and even has the Gooseberry Garden in their blog roll.

This blog is definitely one that catches your eye once you have entered. The poetry is accompanied by pictures that highly relate to and emphasize the poems. The simplicity and easy access of this blog also makes it more inviting and encouraging. One of the poems I really liked on Pat’s blog was Imagination Running Free.

This blog contains lots of little inspirational messages, short and to the point. Most of the poems seem to be on or a part of the pictures themselves well other poems follow the picture in the post. A great example of one that is inspirational and much needed in today’s society is Be a Bee.

Over all this blog is a great read, especially if you are looking for something encouraging. I would definitely recommend this blog to others to read and I hope to see more soon.

This is quite an honor. Thank you for your support. This month is the first year anniversary of Source of Inspiration and I am so grateful to all of you who so generously helped introduce me to the world of poetry. You have been great role models for a gal who had never written poems nor even read blogs before launching Source of Inspiration! I send each of you a big monkey hug from the floresta of Brazil, pat
